Transition is an important part of preparing children and their family for school and helps children to settle into school more readily.
Transition to school helps you and your child to become familiar with the school and for the school to become familiar with your child. Each transition session will provide opportunities to meet new friends, interact with teachers and participate in developmental activities.
Transition is for children who will be starting at Orange East Public School in 2024.
Children are eligible to start school if they turn 5 before 31st July 2024. Children do not necessarily have to start school if they are in this age group and school readiness is something we will discuss during these transition sessions.
